We are producing a student-run journal under the direction of Claudia Emerson with her class, English 306L: The Literary Journal, at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Mission Statement
Our journal seeks, through the publication of high quality art, to encourage a discourse on the representative characteristics of our generation. We believe in presenting the work of artists not in isolation, but in the context of their peers. Accordingly, we are soliciting submissions from as wide a range of college-age people as possible.

Submissions
The submission deadline for our inaugural issue was March 27, 2007. We are still accepting new submissions; poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, essays, video art, visual art, music, and spoken word will be considered. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us.
